Our Investment Philosophy

This firm is run by engineers. We know numbers, and therefore we know that trying to beat the stock market is a fool's game. The core of our recommended portfolios are composed of index mutual funds, with added investments in bank CDs and money market accounts when they offer a superior risk/reward to bond mutual funds.

We don't recommend changes to client portfolios solely based on stock market fluctuations or prevailing sentiment. Changes to client portfolios are driven by changes in their investment objectives or if their target allocation becomes out of balance.

We believe our value is in analyzing the present and not trying to predict the future. We don't recommend owning individual stocks or bonds (US treasuries are an exception since they can be purchased directly without paying commissions).

If you are looking for an advisor who is going to promise market beating returns or the pursuit of the next high flying stock, we are not the advisory firm for you.
